Our client is seeking a Treasury Officer who will be responsible for managing payments, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, communicating with suppliers, and overseeing cash flows across the group companies. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all treasury functions, maintaining strong financial controls, and addressing compliance requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
• Process and manage payments to vendors, suppliers, and employees in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain effective communication with banks regarding payment processing, account management, and related issues
• Ensure full compliance with banking regulations and promptly address any compliance concerns
• Collaborate with the credit control team to support timely collections and manage credit risks
• Assist in resolving payment disputes and ensuring adherence to agreed credit terms
• Manage supplier accounts, ensuring accurate records and on-time payments
• Work closely with the procurement team to monitor payment schedules and supplier contracts
• Administer travel expenses, advances, and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with internal policies
• Prepare and present regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and payment activities for senior management

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in treasury or financial management
• Strong understanding of payments, banking operations, and financial compliance
• Good knowledge of financial regulations and risk management
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English and Greek
