One of our clients, a prominent fintech company specializing in tailored financial solutions for businesses of all sizes, is seeking to hire a Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer for its Limassol office.

Responsibilities:

• Engage effectively with business stakeholders to understand and translate needs
• Transform business concepts into functional software products
• Oversee the entire development lifecycle, including research, design, coding, testing, documentation, and system management
• Mentor and onboard team members, fostering a collaborative environment
• Define and implement large-scale back-end services to support a vast user base in a distributed setting

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 5+ years as a PHP Software Developer, with at least 2 years in a similar position
• Proficiency in PHP MVC frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel etc. (Laravel preferred)
• Strong algorithm-building skills, analytical thinking, and mathematical aptitude
• Experience with professional IDEs
• Excellent knowledge of PHP and MySQL
• Excellent knowledge in GIT
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Familiarity with continuous integration environments
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (PHP Unit)

The following will also be considered as an advantage:

• Experience with front-end JS frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue)
• Knowledge of Linux and AWS Services
• Background in the Fintech industry or experience with Payment systems integration
• Experience in the development of REST APIs
• Experience in database query optimization
