Our client in Limassol, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to group-level financial reporting, consolidation, and strategic financial planning within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reports, including consolidation of multiple entities in line with accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and variance analysis
• Monitor budget vs actual performance and investigate significant variances
• Prepare KPI reporting and financial dashboards for senior management
• Collaborate with departments to gather data and help develop group-level budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes, reduce manual work, and improve overall finance department efficiency
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation to ensure timely and accurate audit outcomes

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA or ACA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5-6 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of financial statements, consolidation principles, and accounting standards
• Proficient in Excel for data manipulation, reporting, and financial modelling
• High level of accuracy in handling financial data and preparing reports, ensuring quality and consistency across group-level outputs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive in identifying inefficiencies or manual processes and suggesting improvements or automation where possible
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks during month-end reporting, budgeting cycles, and project work
• Exposure to ERP/accounting systems and interest in learning new tools like Power BI or other reporting platforms
