Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a hands-on marketing professional to take ownership of the company’s marketing function.

This is an owner-operator role for someone who enjoys setting the direction and then making things happen. You will decide what needs to be done next, execute much of the work yourself, and bring in agencies, freelancers, or other external expertise where it adds value.

You will be the central point for marketing, working closely with Sales, Product, and Management, while coordinating with agencies, freelancers, and external partners.

Our client serves lawyers, accountants, and corporate service providers across several international financial centres. It is a specialised B2B niche where conventional marketing approaches do not always apply. The successful candidate will therefore be curious, commercially minded, willing to experiment, and comfortable testing new approaches and learning from what works, and what does not.

What This Role Is and Isn't

To set clear expectations from the outset:

  • This is not a people-management role. There is currently no internal marketing team associated with the position. The focus is on managing projects, budgets, agencies, freelancers, and other external partners
  • This is not a strategy-only position. The role combines setting the marketing direction with hands-on execution
  • There is no ready-made playbook. The position requires initiative, the ability to identify opportunities, and a proactive approach to building and improving systems and processes where needed

Responsibilities:

  • Own the marketing plan and determine the allocation of marketing resources and budget each quarter
  • Manage and optimise the existing marketing technology stack, connecting tools such as Clay, Apollo, Lemlist, and HubSpot into an effective and scalable system
  • Design and execute end-to-end outbound campaigns, from audience identification and list building through to messaging and sequences
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and reliable CRM data to support the Sales team
  • Manage paid campaigns across Google and LinkedIn, continuously optimising performance based on data and results
  • Take ownership of the company website and its SEO and AEO activities, ensuring visibility among relevant target audiences
  • Partner with the Product team to turn new releases and developments into effective go-to-market campaigns and launches
  • Manage agencies, designers, freelancers, and other external partners against clear briefs, expectations, and measurable outcomes
  • Plan the company’s presence at conferences and industry events, including messaging, collateral, and post-event follow-up campaigns
  • Attend selected international conferences and events throughout the year, gaining direct exposure to the company’s markets and clients
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to increase efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the impact of marketing activities

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  • Approximately 3-6 years of experience in marketing, growth, demand generation, or a related field, with greater emphasis placed on the quality and relevance of experience than the exact number of years
  • Strong, practical experience using AI tools, with a demonstrated interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency and marketing effectiveness
  • marketing generalist mindset, with the ability and willingness to work across different areas of marketing rather than specialising exclusively in one discipline
  • Strong comfort with technology, platforms, and systems, including an interest in connecting tools and automating workflows. Development or programming experience is not required
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence using data and performance metrics to inform decisions and priorities
  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach, with the initiative and willingness to take on new challenges and unfamiliar areas
  • Professional fluency in English and Greek

Why to apply:

  • Hybrid working model, with 3 days per week working from home
  • Competitive remuneration package
  • 13th salary plus performance-based bonuses
  • Company-sponsored provident fund
  • Flexible working hours
  • An additional day of annual leave for your birthday
  • Short Fridays, with the working day finishing at 2:00 p.m.
  • Relaxed, no-dress-code working environment
  • Fully equipped kitchen with complimentary daily refreshments
