Job description

On behalf of our client, a well-established and internationally active group of companies, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and further develop the Group's marketing function across its diverse business sectors and entities. Reporting directly to the Senior Management, this senior leadership role presents an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven marketing professional to shape and execute group-wide marketing strategies, strengthen brand positioning, and enhance engagement with key stakeholders across international markets.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement the Group's overarching marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives across all sectors and entities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Oversee brand strategy, corporate communications, and messaging to ensure consistency and strengthen brand equity across all Group entities and markets
  • Drive digital marketing initiatives, content strategy, and the Group's online presence, including websites, social media channels, and other digital platforms
  • Manage the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, publications, promotional materials, and participation in industry events and exhibitions
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and return on investment of marketing activities
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, and suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective delivery of marketing services
  • Collaborate closely with business development, operational teams, and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with commercial priorities and growth objectives
  • Monitor market developments and industry trends across the maritime, industrial, and technology sectors to ensure the Group's marketing and communications remain relevant, competitive, and forward-looking

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

Essential

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing management role, ideally within a group, holding company, or multi-entity environment
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with a demonstrated track record of developing and delivering successful marketing strategies
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and marketing analytics platforms
  • Experience managing external agencies, suppliers, and marketing service providers
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Desirable

  • Previous experience within the maritime, shipping, or technology sectors
  • Experience working within an international, multi-jurisdictional business environment
