Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers and agents to schedule deliveries, negotiate terms, and resolve any issues that may arise. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and liaise effectively with customers and agents to ensure smooth coordination of logistics operations
  • Process and execute logistics requisitions based on customer requirements
  • Prepare and manage quotations through to the invoicing stage
  • Coordinate with transportation providers, evaluate shipping costs and rates, and research the most efficient and cost-effective shipping options
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and prepare reports as needed

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within the logistics/shipping industry will be considered an advantage, though is not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a business-oriented mindset
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
