Job description

Our client is looking for a Junior Lawyer to join its team and support a broad range of corporate, commercial, and legal matters. This is a great opportunity for a qualified lawyer with 2-3 years of experience who is looking to gain further hands-on experience, work on a variety of matters, and continue developing professionally.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review corporate, finance, and commercial agreements, including SPAs, SHAs, option agreements, loan agreements, pledge agreements, and security agreements
  • Assist with the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements
  • Liaise with public authorities, including the Registrar of Companies, Land Registry, District Office, and Tax Department
  • Assist with the incorporation, administration, and dissolution of companies registered in Cyprus and other jurisdictions
  • Draft and review Memoranda and Articles of Association and assist with relevant amendments
  • Prepare and submit Court applications and other legal documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal opinions on corporate, commercial, and tax matters
  • Assist with handling complaints in line with applicable regulatory guidelines and internal procedures
  • Provide legal support in relation to transactions involving developers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other parties in Cyprus and internationally

 

Required Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Law
  • Qualified lawyer and member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Good knowledge of Cyprus Companies Law
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Zygos software will be considered an advantage
