Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their growing analytics team. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional with a strong analytical mindset, eager to apply technical skills in Python, SQL, and Tableau to deliver insights that drive business decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large financial datasets to identify patterns and trends
• Build and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards to support business operations
• Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and exploratory analysis
• Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders
• Support senior analysts and business teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into actionable insights

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
• Up to 2 years of experience in a data analyst role (internships or project work also considered)
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases
• Hands-on experience with Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.)
• Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
• Strong communication skills to present findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Fluency in English
