Our client is a fast-growing and dynamic company operating within the Forex industry, committed to delivering innovative trading solutions and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior AML Officer to join their Compliance team and support the company’s Anti-Money Laundering and financial crime prevention framework.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures for new and existing clients
• Review and verify client documentation and identify discrepancies or missing information
• Conduct ongoing monitoring of client accounts and transactional activities
• Investigate unusual or potentially suspicious activity and escalate findings where necessary
• Assist in transaction monitoring and sanctions screening processes
• Support Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk clients
• Maintain accurate AML records and ensure proper documentation is retained
• Stay updated with AML regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the Forex industry
• Assist in preparing internal reports and supporting compliance audits
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure adherence to compliance procedures

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Previous experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Banking, Payments, or Forex will be considered an advantage
• Understanding of AML regulations and financial crime prevention principles
• Knowledge of KYC, CDD, and transaction monitoring processes is beneficial
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages will be considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
