We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Expert to lead and safeguard our client’s security posture. This role will be the single point of accountability for developing, implementing, and managing a robust information and cyber security program, protecting information assets, intellectual property, and player data.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across all security domains, such as governance, risk management, compliance, technical controls, and incident response, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems in the fast-paced, highly regulated iGaming industry.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic security roadmap aligned with business objectives and risk appetite
• Define and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Lead company-wide security awareness and training initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate threats
• Deploy, configure, and manage security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, SIEM)
• Perform regular security testing, vulnerability assessments, and access control management
• Maintain and execute an incident response plan; lead incident handling from detection to recovery
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events; implement post-incident improvements
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Report on security posture, incidents, and activities; communicate risks to all stakeholder

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+
• Experience within the iGaming industry, or proven track record in information and cybersecurity roles
• Broad knowledge of network, application, and data security; incident response; and risk management
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, web filtering, email gateways, DLP, and SIEM
• Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and regulations (GDPR, gaming jurisdiction requirements)
• Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of the security function

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
