Our client, a fast-growing company in the iGaming industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and wants to play a key role in driving financial performance, compliance, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in accounting and financial management with excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all finance and accounting operations
  • Prepare monthly invoices and revenue calculations
  • Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial strategies
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Identify, assess, and manage financial risks daily, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of external accounting and payroll service providers
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audits
  • Organize and manage document flow, including the collection, classification, and archiving of internal documentation such as client contracts, supplier agreements, and corporate records
  • Develop, implement, and oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures to prevent financial crime and ensure compliance with local and international regulations
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to meet operational and growth objectives
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and operations teams to align financial management with AML and responsible gaming requirements
  • Analyze the financial performance of gaming products, markets, and player segments to identify trends and ensure adherence to AML standards
  • Perform various office administration and support tasks as needed

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as ACCA (or equivalent) is a strong advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management
  • Strong knowledge of tax and accounting legislation
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and financial consolidation principles
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines under pressure
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professional ethics in handling sensitive financial information
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken
