One of our clients, one of the leading land and property development company in Cyprus, is seeking to hire a Finance and Accounts Manager for their Limassol office.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the efficient functioning of the company’s Finance and Accounting operations
• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants to guarantee the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with local laws and standards
• Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Track cash flow, monitor financial performance and profitability, and provide strategic financial advice to the management team
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal management and external stakeholders
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT filings, and other mandatory statutory reports
• Support external audits by ensuring compliance with audit requirements and addressing any arising issues
• Foster relationships and coordinate with external partners, including auditors, financial institutions, and other associates
• Report directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ICAEW Chartered Accountant qualification will be considered as a plus
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing (prior experience in the Construction and Real Estate industry is strongly preferred)
• Solid understanding of Cyprus Tax and VAT legislation
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Highly motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Excellent command of the English language
