One of our clients, a leading company in the Regulatory Technology and Financial Services industry, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in Nicosia.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze client data and collaborate with developers to design custom solutions for a diverse clientele, including top-tier banks and investment firms worldwide
- Utilize various tools to analyze datasets and derive insights that drive strategic decisions
- Conduct product demonstrations, oversee client onboarding, and manage issue resolution to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain high standards of usability, functionality, and performance, ensuring product quality and reliability
- Assess client needs and priorities to drive product enhancements and innovation
Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- SQL proficiency; knowledge of Python or JavaScript is a plus
- Experience in Financial Services or familiarity with Financial Instruments & Markets is advantageous
- Understanding of trade and transaction reporting (EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR) will be considered as a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident, positive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a collaborative approach to achieving goals
