One of our clients in the corporate services sector is looking to hire a Corporate Accountant to join their growing team in Limassol.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is confident in handling day-to-day bookkeeping, reporting, VAT/VIES submissions, reconciliations, and supporting payroll and payments in a structured and fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accounting records
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports
  • Prepare and submit VAT, VIES, and Central Bank reports
  • Prepare reconciliations of bank balances, receivables, and payables
  • Prepare payroll and process payments to Social Insurance and Tax Departments
  • Liaise with auditors and other external advisors
  • Ensure timely monthly supplier payments
  • Manage petty cash
  • Issue invoices and receipts
  • Perform credit control and follow up on clients’ outstanding balances

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in an Accounting / Bookkeeping role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or LCCI Higher Diploma (or equivalent) will be considered an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Highly ethical, trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up and tracking skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Strong team-working skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (written and spoken)
