Job description
One of our clients in the corporate services sector is looking to hire a Corporate Accountant to join their growing team in Limassol.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is confident in handling day-to-day bookkeeping, reporting, VAT/VIES submissions, reconciliations, and supporting payroll and payments in a structured and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accounting records
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports
- Prepare and submit VAT, VIES, and Central Bank reports
- Prepare reconciliations of bank balances, receivables, and payables
- Prepare payroll and process payments to Social Insurance and Tax Departments
- Liaise with auditors and other external advisors
- Ensure timely monthly supplier payments
- Manage petty cash
- Issue invoices and receipts
- Perform credit control and follow up on clients’ outstanding balances
Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in an Accounting / Bookkeeping role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or LCCI Higher Diploma (or equivalent) will be considered an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Highly ethical, trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent follow-up and tracking skills
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Strong team-working skills
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (written and spoken)
