One of our clients, a prominent fintech company specializing in tailored financial solutions for businesses of all sizes, is looking to enhance its team in Limassol by hiring a Cloud Architect/DevOps Engineer. This role involves designing and managing the company's AWS-based cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting machine learning models and web applications through robust and optimized cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing services such as SageMaker, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and other related tools
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using platforms like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless deployment of applications and machine learning models
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance, with a focus on safeguarding sensitive transaction data
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for enhanced performance and cost-efficiency
• Administer cloud solutions, including the configuration of instances, websites, networks, security groups, and databases
• Manage WAF, CDN, and DNS services to ensure optimal application performance and security
• Address security incidents promptly and apply patches to maintain infrastructure integrity

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management
• Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD pipeline tools
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
• Expertise in automating and orchestrating cloud infrastructure
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications are highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
