Our client is a leading provider of satellite and communication solutions, as well as IT and cybersecurity services, delivering innovative and reliable technology to support critical operations across multiple industries. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts receivable ledger and track outstanding balances
- Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely collections
- Process customer payments and allocate them correctly in the accounting system
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
- Prepare aging reports and provide regular AR status updates to management
- Handle customer billing inquiries and resolve payment disputes professionally
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central is considered a plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent command of written and spoken Greek and English
