Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations across a group of companies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain bookkeeping records for a group of companies, including monthly closing procedures
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial data
  • Process invoices promptly and accurately
  • Conduct receivables and vendor reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
