On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations across a group of companies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain bookkeeping records for a group of companies, including monthly closing procedures
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial data
- Process invoices promptly and accurately
- Conduct receivables and vendor reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits
Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
