An esteemed international client of ours, is looking to recruit a skilled and dedicated Accounts Officer to join their team at their Limassol office.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts in compliance with company policies
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial statements
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash flow records
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Prepare and file tax returns as required by local regulations
  • Ensure timely payment of all tax obligations
  • Provide guidance on Cyprus financial and tax regulations
  • Provide support with general office administration tasks as needed
  • Report directly to company management

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and/or LCCI Higher
  • 3–6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with local financial regulations, and accounting standards
  • Knowledge of VAT, VIES procedures and other local taxes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel 
  • Excellent command of the English language
