On behalf of our client, a reputable and forward-thinking company in the iGaming industry, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the company’s compliance and planning activities. Responsibilities:

• Record and post journal entries in the accounting system, ensuring adherence to internal financial policies and procedures
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies
• Collect, organize, and securely archive invoices using a cloud-based document management system
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of revenue protocols and client invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Verify and document promotional discounts granted to clients, ensuring appropriate approval and record-keeping
• Monitor trade receivables by tracking outstanding balances and initiating timely follow-ups with clients for collections
• Review and compile vendor invoices weekly, managing accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Prepare and submit payment orders for approval within the banking system in line with company procedures
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Support the preparation of income tax and VAT calculations and submissions
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling relevant financial data and assisting in financial planning activities
• Prepare revenue analyses, promotional discount reports, and other ad hoc financial reports as required

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, or ICPAC are considered an advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or other ERP systems)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Strong command of the English language
