Our client, a well-established professional services firm based in Limassol, provides a comprehensive range of accounting, auditing, tax, and business advisory services to both local and international clients. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a motivated Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping duties for local and international companies using the Intelisoft accounting system, including:
  • Recording sales, purchases, and expenses
  • Performing bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
  • Preparing VAT reconciliations
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and accruals
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit VIES returns
• Handle VAT/VIES registrations and deregistrations
• Communicate and liaise with VAT authorities, including refund applications, queries, and investigations

 

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role (newly graduates with limited or no experience will also be considered)
• Academic background in Accounting, Finance, or related studies
• Familiarity with accounting software; Intelisoft experience will be considered a strong advantage
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach
• Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within a professional services environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
